Drenthe means quiet, green and light that shifts slowly. Heath at Dwingeloo, lanes in Orvelte, hunebeds in mist and the Drents-Friese Wold near Havelte, each landscape photographs differently from city or water.
Children can run on the heath; couples walk along the Drentsche Aa without crowds. Wedding reportage on an estate or farm needs flexibility with wind and rain, we discuss that in advance so you can enjoy the day calmly.

Yes, especially at Dwingelderveld and around Zuidlaren, in late summer and autumn for purple heather and soft light. We plan timing and comfortable paths.

Ideal. Forest, heath and esdorps give room to move while I photograph alongside, Asserbos and short heath routes work well.
We find shelter under trees, move to an esdorp setting or reschedule. Outdoor weddings on estates usually have an indoor plan.
